Known Name: Doc, Gabe, Monkey

Birth Name: Gabriel Barker

Date of Birth: 1599

Age: 26

Nationality: English

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 165lbs

Distinguishing Features: A few scars on his back and one along the left side of his face all from whips.

Personality: A great nob- okay he's a facetious prick and for those of whom he doesn't know and or gives respect he will hold from being to mean spirited to them. Just don't mention God in any good kind of way to him. Also quite the alcoholic by most standards, steadily drinking rum like water even willing to take a lashing for it, literally one lashing equals a bottle of rum. In all other fronts that doesn't involve rum he is quite strong willed.

Skills:
Swordfighting
Marksmanship (guns and knives)
Surgery (very against normal tradition since he tries not to lob off a limb if he can help it)
Herbalist
Sailing
Nimble
Climbing

Spoken Languages:
English: Native
Spanish: Fluent
French: Moderate
Latin: Minimal

Occupation: Pirate upon Black Magic

Rank: Physician

Ships: N/A

Flags: N/A

Biography: Gabriel Barker, born to a noble family sent to the Caribbean as a means to try and secure a foothold of wealth for themselves mostly. Brought up by an overly cruel father with a favor to a whip treatment for poor performance that Gabriel found out early on included him as well. Typically though he only ever earned welts and minor cuts, but a few landed true and gave his back a scar. Of course not keen on being damaged he did exemplary even for an adult in the medical field, but it was difficult to keep up with such high demands and he would slip up a bit here and there, be it his sword training, marksmanship training or even simple behavior behind closed doors. God was also something the house wasn't to keen upon but Gabriel was still forced to learn it and found it distasteful at best. Through it all though he learned a great deal of things in the medical field most didn't, either due to a wall of faith or lack of ability Gabriel was even taught how to make some medicines. Gabriel was determined to live through it and rise to the top of the social hierarchy until he spoke to his father as an equal at the age of fourteen. A quick lashing gave him two of his scars. One upon his back and another on his face when he kept speaking as an equal. It sealed things and he left his comfy life to live it out as a pirate. Being a simple deck hand proved to be quite easier than he had realized and after some tussles with the other men in a not so serious manner he realized he was pretty good with almost any kind of blade you would normally run across. At this time he picked up throwing knives and was very keen with it, the crew began calling him a monkey since they had witnessed him scale things most people had a hard time, with ease one might say. Content being this he entered battle and found his new friends getting injured and killed. So he made sure to survive and heal those he could, surprising most he could do this too.

Description: Semi-broad shoulders, shaggy black hair, sharp blue eyes, slightly tan skin from being in the sun, compact muscles on his otherwise thin frame. A keen preference to wear a bracer with some knives safely tucked into it, typically slouched but when standing upright with a stern look one might say he looked regal.

Delivered to the Church of England instead of the prisons, he was taught harshly the laws of God for the following three years. Afterwards, he was returned to the Chehanoff Household to be placed in servitude as a subject to the Duke. His capture resulted in a conversion facilitated by the Catholic Church who strictly taught him the mercy and fear of God. Upon his release nearing his 20th birthday, he was returned to the Chehanoff House with the name of Paul, signifying his renouncement of sin and the start of a new life. Through this renouncement, he was branded with marks signifying his change of character. He has grown fond of the life as a subject to the Duke and quickly became friends with the Duke's son, Johnathan Chehanoff II. Johnathan was fascinated by the world of pirates and was taught many tricks before Johnathan lost his father. Although Paul has a questionable path, he was the first in mind to help build a crew upon the Rose Baelena. Paul seems to have the tact and will to follow Johnathan to whatever end he should meet.

Biography: There is saying you have been everywhere and done many things. However, Henry is someone that could say they have. He is what you would consider a jack of all trades as he has gone from job to job, situation after situation, Henry did what he had to in order to survive. Because of this, he had become somewhat of a drifter his entire life. Born to an English father and Spanish mother; Henry lived a relatively normal childhood until he was Seventeen, having had gotten lost out at sea, working with his father. He was luckily picked up by a trading ship. Not being able to stay aboard for free, he worked for his keep on any ship he was aboard hoping to one day make it back to England.  It was not until some few years later lost going form ship to ship until he was able to return back to England, only to find out that his parents had died from an unexplained disease before he could return. This was when he was twenty. Since then, he has lived  how he had become accustomed to for the past few years, no longer feeling right to just simply settle on land for too long. It was not a life of wealth, but instead a lifetime of hard work, and humbleness. It wasn’t a great life, but he was content with it.
